About Us

We are the culmination of a merger between two excellent University Equestrian Societies, the Horse riding society and the Equine Society

in September 2009, both Societies merged, accepting new members
under the ajoined name "Lincoln Equestrian Society"

headed by a combined Committee, The truck load of organising began,
setting up new stables, logo's, meeting places, membership fee's etc...
The Society continued to use one of the Equine Riding stables, "Poppyfields" and brought in a new stables for use of Advanced riders,
wanting more than just a Riding school experience. (Riseholme)

The Society has gone from strength to strength with record enrollments
and member turn outs, and some amazing trips and fundraisers in the works
including a visit from British Team Western Reiner, Lee Rutter to give
a demonstration as part of a fundraiser event.
